Got what I needed

I needed a new Micro:bit accessory for a school project my kid was doing. Found a Bit:Buggy on Pi Supply's site. It arrived in about 4 days, which was pretty standard. The product itself was fine, worked right out of the box. No drama, just got the job done. It was an easy purchase, all good.

So happy with my new HAT!

I just got the JustBoom DAC HAT and it's fantastic! The sound quality for my project is incredible, seriously a huge upgrade. I was worried about installation but it was super easy to set up with my Pi. I'm definitely going to buy from them again, I've already eyed a few other things for my next project. Highly recommend!

Decent experience, slow delivery

I ordered a PaPiRus ePaper Screen and some jumper wires from Pi Supply. The website was easy to navigate and placing the order was straightforward. The products arrived well-packaged and the screen works great for my project. My only minor issue was the delivery; it took a full week to get to me, which felt a bit long for a domestic order. Otherwise, a solid experience.

Good value on accessories

I was looking for some Raspberry Pi accessories and found Pi Supply. I signed up for their newsletter and got a discount code, which was nice. I bought a Cooling Fan and a set of Heatsinks for my new Pi 5. The total came out less than I expected, which is always a plus. It felt like I got a good deal overall.

Comprehensive review of my order

I recently purchased an IoT starter kit along with some extra sensors and an SD card from Pi Supply. The ordering process was smooth, and I received an order confirmation almost immediately. Shipping took about 5 business days to reach me in California, which was within the expected timeframe. All items were securely packed, individually wrapped, and arrived without any damage. I had a quick question about one of the sensor modules, and their customer support responded to my email within 24 hours with a helpful link to a guide. The quality of the kit seems good, and all components powered up correctly. It's a solid option for anyone getting into IoT projects.

Hey, thinking of grabbing a Raspberry Pi 5 and some accessories from Pi Supply. Anyone know if their discount codes usually work on the actual Pi boards? Or is it just for the other stuff?

J Jacob Sanchez 1 week ago
Nah, pretty sure most codes don't apply to the main Raspberry Pi boards themselves. It's usually for their own branded hats or other components. Learned that the hard way lol.

Yeah, what they said. I tried to use a newsletter signup code on a Pi 4 last year and it didn't work. It usually specifies that the popular hardware is excluded.

Are Pi Supply's own HATs generally good quality? Thinking about getting one of their LoRa Node HATs but haven't used their stuff before.

I've got a couple of their Flick HATs and they've been solid. No issues at all, documentation was pretty decent too.

They're usually pretty reliable, I think. I have a BrightPi and it's been working fine for ages. They specialize in Pi stuff so it makes sense their own brand is good.

What's their return policy like? Bought a few things but might need to send one back if it doesn't fit my project.

D Danielle Martin 3 weeks ago
I returned a sensor board last year. It was pretty straightforward, just had to pay for my own shipping back to them. No hassle with the refund once they got it.

They have a standard return window, think it's like 30 days or something. As long as it's unopened or not damaged, you should be good.

Anyone ordered from them to the US recently? How long did it take to get here, say to New York? Trying to plan a project.

D Danielle Ramirez 1 week ago
I got a shipment to California a couple months back. Took about 10-12 days for standard shipping. New York might be a bit quicker, but I'd budget for at least a week and a half.

Yeah, ordered some components to Philly, took about 9 days. They do ship internationally though, so it'll get there, just not super fast like Amazon.

Is Pi Supply a legit store? Never heard of them before, always used Adafruit or SparkFun.

H Hannah P. 3 weeks ago
Oh yeah, totally legit. Been around for ages. They're like one of the main UK Raspberry Pi resellers and also make their own cool stuff. Think they're an official Raspberry Pi reseller too, afaik.

Super legit. I've been buying from them for years for various projects. Always get what I ordered and their support is decent if you need it.
